Background

I am interested in developing software tools to analyze and visualize genomic data using machine learning and high-performance computing, with the ultimate goal of identifying and characterizing genes, proteins, and other small molecules in the human body that cause disease. Prior to returning to science, I co-founded a software engineering firm and then took a career break to raise my six children.
